Out of those views, the average time spent on the site was 2:34 mins. Awesome! People are reading the content

February Favourite Photos

As a real estate photographer, I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of spaces.  On these photography adventures, I see pretty cool things every day that I can't help but share. Here are my favourite photos from February!

Polished Concrete Floors & Original Beams

No grumpy mornings when your first cup of coffee is sitting in here.

I loved this space the moment I walked in. It combines some of my favourite things - a ton of natural light and modern elements with exposed beams. Getting to photograph spaces like this is truly inspiring.

Not only do these skylights offer a ton of vitamin D, they help make our long Canadian winters much brighter. Lynne added the west facing triangular window for sunset lighting.

New Neighbours?

I used to be afraid of horses. After visiting several horse ranches over past couple of years, I now really appreciate their beauty and presence....although they still make me a bit nervous!

This was photographed at a beautiful acreage property near Spencerville for Paul Rushforth Real Estate - you can see the full property here: www.9063campbell.com

I think there is only one word for these two - Majestic!

Fun fact: it costs around $14,000 to fly a horse to the UK! I wonder if they get champagne and a hot towel?

Bonus: Here is some video footage from another horse property I photographed in the fall for the Wright Team:

Every Pet Owners Dream Kitchen Feature

This has to be one of the most clever designs. You can keep pet bowls hidden when you need to, or give kitty access for when you want. Cats are always the boss!

This was shot for Muskoka Kitchens designer Julie Bariault-Morin who was submitting this kitchen for the National Kitchen & Bath Association 2017 Design awards.

The Winner For Farthest Listing Shoot Goes To...

Drumroll please......

This year's winner for the longest drive goes to Penny Kazsas of Paul Rushforth Real Estate!

I have to say, it was worth the drive.  One thing I should have clued in on: if a house has it's own name ("The Abbey"), it's probably something pretty cool!

The property was an absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast that looked like a castle.  We got some great shots and did some drone footage to help show off this property!

You can view the drone video below and if you like to see the property website head to:  http://21489butternutlane.com/

And here is the drone footage we shot:

The property is located in North Lancaster, about 50 minutes from Montreal here:

So while it was a pretty long drive, the property and the owners (who were very nice!) made the trip worthwhile!

How To Do A Vacant Property Video

Now this is how you do real estate video without overselling! We all know selling a vacant property, especially a condo can be a challenge.   I think Reilly Lepage did an amazing job making this property interesting.   Keeping a viewer interested through an entire video can be difficult - but if you do real estate video right, even on the most plain property, you can hold a viewer's attention.
