March 2017 Favourite Photos

St. Patricks Day, lots of snow and a time warp transformation.  Here are my favourites from March 2017!

Winter Relief

Listed by Veronique Paquette - RE/Max Core - Ottawa, ON

Photo day was dark, stormy and I was wishing for spring. After being pelted with face hurting weather, walking into this space was a sigh of relief. The abundance of natural light and open floor plan made the dark day bright and inviting. It actually felt like winter had disappeared. The natural light carried throughout the main floor and into the bedrooms and lower level. To top it off there's a theatre in the basement.

St Patrick's Day Sunset

Happy St Patricks Day!  I was welcomed to an appointment with Nancy Allen in festive gear. This totally made my day. Thank you, Nancy!

Nancy's condo listing at 514- 1100 Ambleside has a great view from the balcony. She was hoping to have a sunset photo to really show it off.   With the "Luck of the Irish" and some fancy digital dancing we were able to work some magic and make it happen.  Which look do you prefer? Day or Dusk?

Time Warp Transformation

We were asked to virtually stage some photos that were provided to us. The home was in original condition and our client was looking to freshen it up. I was skeptical at first. I wondered if the staged photos would work well.  Sometimes letting a space be "as it is"  VS. stretching what the space can handle is better. When Melissa showed me the completed project, it totally changed my mind. I couldn't believe how much better the eclectic upgrade was. It's amazing how the lines between decades of design can be blurred with some creativity.
